About Us!
The Barrels is located in the small Ayrshire village of Monkton which sits beside Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. All the main towns in Ayrshire are within easy commuting distance and we are central to all the major transport links with both Prestwick and Troon Railway Stations a short journey away and with the A77 on our doorstep and also being situated on a bus route there are plenty of ways to get around.
Our facilities consist of three double rooms including one family room, each with its own en-suite. Each room also has colour TV and tea & coffee facilities. There is also the dining room where a choice of either a traditional breakfast or a continental breakfast can be enjoyed! The building also has parking spaces for guests and is fully compliant with all Local Authority & Government Health & Safety legislation. *Please note that we operate a non smoking policy.
The proprietor of The Barrels is Mrs Rosie Carr who ensures that all her guests are very well looked after and catered for ensuring they have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
